Title: Light A Little Candle
Warnings: Angsty
Author's Notes: My first songish thing! I might as well make this intro worth it. This is going to be a collection of drabble-sized things, basically songs or poems about characters or something going on in the Graviverse as I see them come along. This will be updated randomly as I only write stuff like this, well...when I think of it on the spot, lol. Most likely I'll be inspired by RPs, sooo...we'll see how this goes! Please leave comments and reviews! I live for them!

Okay! This first one is a song. It's Tatsuha-centric (like all my stuff is atm, now that I look at it) because I play him in an RP and he has much reason to be sad right now. So I wrote this for him, it's made both of us feel better ^__^;; It's mainly free-form without a meter but an attempt at Rhyme. Feedback is humpable!

Light A Little Candle

It's just another candle
Against the same old wall

Dear Mother,
I never got the chance to thank you
For teaching me "Goodbye"
Even before I could say "hello"
You took off to the sky
And left a lesson to your family;
You taught us how to cry

Will you watch the flame with me?
That sweet but weak taboo

Dear Sister,
I never got the chance to thank you
For teaching me my name
The nights you gave up to hold me
The days we spent the same
But we all heard mother's lesson...
So why do you cry the rain?

It's just another candle
Against the same old wall
Reminding us of the life we have
Before we start to fall
Will you watch the flame with me?
That sweet but weak taboo
Maybe...

Dear Brother,
I never got the chance to thank you
For teaching me my place
Reminding me of the love you lost
That I felt with your final embrace
You showed me that the cliche is wrong;
Time really can erase

It's just another candle
Against the same old wall
Reminding us of the life we have
Before we start to fall
Will you watch the flame with me?
That sweet but weak taboo
Maybe...

Dear Father,
I never got the chance to thank you
For teaching me my life
Showing us that compassion is often lost
With the loss of a wife
Cementing my replacement duty
Only twisting the knife

Dear Lover,
I never got the chance to thank you...
And I hope I never do

It's just another candle
Against the same old wall
Reminding us of the life we have
Before we start to fall
Will you watch the flame with me?
That sweet but weak taboo
Maybe someday soon
I can light a little candle for you
