| Wow, this is a very powerful piece. The interplay between what Yuki wants and what he percieves Shu to need is fascinating. I had never considered the characters in this way before. I don't know, maybe Shu would love him a little less or be a little less interested if he didn't have to fight so hard. It's a very original take and I enjoyed reading it. I'm really glad you decided to post to the site :) |

| wow. This is great. Although short, it's extremely powerful. I think it fits best in angst. But that's just me. It's still a great piece of work. Thank you for posting. |

| Ah, I hate it when I can't think of anything constructive to say. Feels like such a cheap review like that. Oh well. I really liked the idea of it being really hard for him to change, not because he doesn't want to but because of the expectations involved. I find that very true to life. |

Ah, I read this on the EirixShu LJ community. It's a very intense piece - powerful. It's original, too - the way you describe Eiri's perspective on their relationship. I enjoyed reading this, I'm glad you posted it here.

| Your description of Shuichi- wanting to feel "the highest highs and lowest lows"- was dead-on. In the far overpopulated world of Yuki introspectives, this one truly stands out. |

| I really like the emotion in this fic. It is strangely powerful for so short a work. Very nicely done. |

| Oh lovely. *sighs* It's rare that I find an introspective piece that leaves me with a sense of satisfaction. Well done. |

I remember reading this some time ago elsewhere and enjoying it then. Nice to see it again!
A fresh way to look at the internal workings of the two men. I like Eiri wanting to show a softer side yet hesitant because of Shu's reaction - and not the kind of reaction we typically expect from Shu.
Nicely done! |

I thought this was a nice introspective work on Eiri's character. What I liked about it the most was how you gave it a little twist and suggested Yuki wanted to act different but was afraid of doing so. Many other writers have tried it, but very few succeed. The reason you are one of the few is because of how you portray the Yuki, Eiri, thinks Shu wants him to be. The Yuki he tries to be because of Shuichi. That's different. Usually people say Shuichi wants to be treated kindly, but to be honest it's never appeared to me he minds Eiri's aloofness that much.
Well done :D |

WHOA!
That was HARSH! I expected something else, what I'm not quite sure, but what I got from this fic was Yuki's pain, insincurity and his love for Shuichi. WOW! I'm hoping that you keep writing, your fics are intriguing!
Keep up the good work!

I read "Opposition" today after reading your livejournal. And I must say I agree with you as being someone who is more like shu, some one who likes to be conqured and quite frankly very selfish. I can admit that when someone I find suport and strength in cries, I don't know what to do (I kinda like being a child so used to getting comfort, but not knowing what to do when someone needs comfort). Its kind of strange b/c most people see Eiri certin ways (asshole bastered ect...) but really he's very emotional he just doesn't and mabey doesn't know how to show those emotions, partially b/c nobody expects him to, and every one sees him as strong b/c he's like this but really isn't he weak b/c of this(don't quote me on this b/c it has been a month since I re-read gravitaion manga but I think Eiri hints at the fact that Shuichi is strong b/c he can show everything that he feels that might just be something I interpreted though) anyways I love your fics all of them and just wanted to let you know that I agree with you and mabey we are just all emotionly stunted just in difrent areas.

Wow.
This has me absolutely stunned.
Its so... on base.
Very, very good. I've bveen looking for something like this for years and I'm so happy I've finally found it.
Its beautifully written, with just enough emotion.
You really sink into Yuki's character, get into his head, and show us what /you/ believe he feels during times like these.
Bravo!
Cheers
